Jan has worked with a variety of waste management solutions since the early 1990:s. The past two decades Jan has mainly worked with Energy from Waste projects, as the CEO for Westenergy, a 200.000 t/a plant in Vaasa, Finland and later as the head of the Ramboll Owners Engineer organizations in a 500.000 t/a plant in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, the 1.900.000 t/a plant in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and currently for the 900.000 t/a plant in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Before the Energy from Waste time Jan worked with anaerobic digestion, RDF production and various sorting technologies. Jan has gained experience in Scandinavia, Central and South Europe, Africa, South East Asia and lately the Middle East.
