Luca Forlani Senior Industry Specialist - Solid Waste & Circularity International Finance Corporation (IFC)

Luca Forlani is a Senior Industry Specialist for Solid Waste & Circularity at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector arm of the World Bank Group (WBG). In his role, Luca works with project developers, waste management companies and municipalities focusing on accelerating the adoption of sustainable waste management practices in emerging markets through IFC’s advisory, investment and capital mobilization offerings, supporting projects across the whole waste value chain. Luca joined IFC in 2020 and has over two decades of experience in the solid waste sector across both developed and emerging economies, including on the financing of several EfW projects.
