Rogier van de Weijer is an experienced business development manager capable of positioning the company in new geographic regions and developing new markets successfully.

Rogier works as Blue Phoenix Group international business development manager and started with the Dutch branch of the company in 2011. In the past years Blue Phoenix has grown from a Waste to Energy residues recycling company into a global leading waste recycling infrastructure platform.

All activities are centered around the production of aggregates for infrastructure works and recovery of valuable metal resources from Energy from Waste ash residues, recovered scrap metals, Construction and Demolition waste or Tar-Containing Asphalt.  Blue Phoenix waste management infrastructure platform de-risks investors and Governments in the sustainable use of manufactured aggregates in their civil and infrastructure works.  Blue Phoenix owns and operates recycling facilities globally and takes responsibility for the production and compliant and sustainable application of recovered raw materials, reducing materials to landfill and contributing to the circular economy.

Rogier holds a bachelor’s degree in commercial economics and prior to working with Blue Phoenix, Rogier held various commercial roles in international business development teams.
